For accessing working areas or used on construction sites

Due to the height grid arrangement of 2.00 m, site stair towers are ideally suited in front of facade scaffolding, e.g. PERI UP T 72 or T 104. Each working level can be reached without any height adjustments required. For this use, the stairs are designed for a live load of 1.0 kN/m².

In addition, the stair tower together with the PERI UP Rosett modular scaffold can also be used as an independent staircase tower. PERI can show proof of stability for a run of staircase and landing of 20 m under a live load of 2.0 kN/m². The ledgers are used as guardrails and brace the tower. Diagonals are not required.

PERI UP site stair towers are particularly fast and cost-effective to install, when the standards are tightly connected to each other and complete stair sections are moved with the crane.

Similarly, suspended stairways can be used for accessing climbing formwork or in shafts, e.g. subway construction. The standards are tightly connected by means of bolts and nuts whereby each connection can transfer up to 19.7 kN permissible tension force. Theoretically, this means up to 40 scaffolding levels can be installed as suspended scaffold.
