Bonville Bypass
The Bonville Bypass project involved the construction of the Northbound Bridge over Service Road at the Pacific Highway.
The bridge has a length of 67 metres and is 20 metres wide. It has an average height of 5.6 metres.
ST 100 Stacking Towers were used as falsework for the full bridge. The shoring towers were being built horizontally and then craned into position for fast erection.
For the beams of the bridge, the VARIO wall formwork system with a formwork area of 972 m2 were being used for its cost-effectiveness and versatility.
380 m2 of the light and fast erection GRIDFLEX Aluminium Grid Slab Formwork was being used as slab support between the beams.
The bridge project which is part of the Princes Highway upgrade, started in June 2007 and was completed in September 2007.
