PERI RUNDFLEX is fast, versatile and economical
Conditions for releasing clarified sewage
water into public waterways is coming under continuously stricter regulations. These regulations are met by increasing the capacity and improving the technical equipment. Several sewage treatment basins of the Brisbane sewage plant also had to be extended in this way.
The up to 5.30 m high circular containers
have radii between 5 and 30 m. PERI supplied 320 m² of RUNDFLEX 250/240 units. The site was well equipped to handle the contract with this. John Holland Construction was impressed with the easy erection of the robust formwork system and the short hiring time achieved by the set of formwork.
This was especially clear when constructing the large circular container of 30 m diameter. It was possible to complete the tank, divided into four concreting sections, in a six-day cycle. For the smaller containers, that were to be concreted in one pour, the team took only two weeks for each.
