Dendrobium Coal Mine
This chamber in the coal mine located about 1 hours drive south of Sydney, was constructed fast and efficiently using a range of PERI formwork and scaffolding.
PERI TRIO and CB240 climbing brackets for the main walls. The climbing brackets provide a safe working area behind the formwork when the shutters are in the closed position, or a generous working area in front of the form whilst retracted between pours for cleaning of forms and steel-fixing activities.
ST100 shoring towers were pre-assembled on the ground and lifted into position for the 2.5m thick roof slab. The special formwork support on Multipprop towers for the arched soffit at each end wall was designed by PERI Australia's competent team of engineers, and was safely accessed using PERI UP Rosett scaffolding.
Rundflex was utilised to form the 7.2m high concrete block on top of the roof slab.
