National Sales Manager, Sydney based

We are searching for an experienced, ambitious and goal-driven sales professional to fill a unique opening that we have at our Head Office location in Sydney. The National Sales Manager is directly reporting to the Managing Director and as part of the senior management team, the successful candidate will lead and drive the national sales team in delivering continuous success and growth.

Your contribution to the team includes

  • Manage and lead the Sales team in achieving sales volume and profit, contributing to the company’s growth by maintaining profitable relationship with existing customers and generating new business streams
  • Develop and/ or adjust Sales long-term and mid-term strategy (on a yearly basis) in consultation with the Management team
  • Set individual and regional sales targets, forecasts, budgets and KPI (CRM)

    What you will need to be short-listed
  • 8 years successful Sales Experience in the formwork industry with a proven track record of meeting objectives
  • 5+ successful Sales Management Experience with a proven track record of meeting objectives
  • Key Account Management skills: Negotiation, Value Proposition, Knowledge of PERI products and processes
  • Ability to liaise with people at all levels from diverse cultural background

  • Assistance and back-up support for full function accounts payable (approximately 35% of role).
  • Including expense management, invoice processing and support for FBT return preparation.
  • Processing Invoices, Payment Runs and Bank Payments; reconcile sub-ledger to General ledger.
  • To assist accounts payable with the preparation of the month-end accrual of expenses.
  • Assistance and back-up support for financial accountant (approximately 65% of role).
  • Including monthly standing journals, asset register, month end journals, and bank and general ledger reconciliations.
  •  Month end reporting.
  • Laisse with auditors at year ends.
  • FBT return preparation support.
  • Provide support to the Financial Controller as directed.

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate would have the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • Previous experience in a similar role;
  • Accounting diploma or degree.
  • Associate membership of a recognized accounting body or eligible to join.
  • Min 10 years’ experience in Accounts department at assistant accountant level or higher.
  • Experience of accounting system (AccPac/SAGE) desirable.
  • Confident and professional.
