NSW Sales Engineer, Sydney based

We are searching for an experienced, ambitious and goal-driven sales professionals to join our growing sales team. Reporting to the respective State Sales Manager, the Sales Engineer will contribute in achieving sales volume and continuous growth by managing existing customers and generating new business streams.

Your contribution to the team includes

  • Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients
  • Services existing accounts, obtain orders and establishes new accounts
  • Identify, develop and maintain customer relationships
  • Prepare quotation for formwork and scaffolding solutions requested by the customer
  • Negotiate and finalise sales / rental contracts with customers and thereafter provide relevant project information to other departments
  • Prepare and update sales pipeline on a regular basis to achieve annual sales targets
  • Ensure that customers understand the company contract and condition terms and follow-up closely during project execution (rental)
  • Ensure that customers understand the company invoicing and follow through with collection of payments
  • Communicate and report to the Sales Manager regarding project status and sales activities on a regular basis
  • Apply PERI business models in accordance to customers budget by keeping PERIs financial risk at a minimum
  • Representing the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What you will need to bring to be short-listed

  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in formwork Sales or related industry
  • Experience in AutoCAD Software (preferred)
  • Sound knowledge in Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Strong sense for flexibility and responsibility
  • Self-reliable working and comprehensive project responsibility
  • Strong professional ethics, open and trustworthy
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Negotiation skills and customer focused
  • A good team player with excellent communication ( written and oral) and interpersonal skills to work with internal and external parties
  • Able to strictly respect and follow PERI corporate compliance program
