Customer

Kenny Constructions Pty Ltd

Benefit to customer

  • Ability to reuse RCS Trusses with no or minimum adjustment.
  • Ability to transport RCS Trusses from Castle Hill station site to Showground Rd station site.
  • Large span of the RCS trusses reduced the need for the client to have to cut or pierce the waterproofing membrane.

PERI solution

  • Due to the limited base slab capacity and the NRT not allowing for the waterproof membrane to be pierced, PERI designed RCS Trusses to carry the concrete load. The RCS Trusses allowed a 10m vertical span without any ties, and additionally RCS Trusses to span 6m horizontally without any ties, for the centre wall.
  • VARIO shutters were used to allow for various tie bar locations for the RCS truss ties
