Sneydes Road Interchange

Location: Melbourne, Australia

To build an interchange with and over one of Melbourne’s busiest freeways, PERI AUS supplied an optimized formwork and scaffolding solution from one source. In addition, PERI engineers closely collaborated with the project participants and provided them with 3D renderings to ensure that all requirements could be fulfilled.


The new interchange on the Princes Freeway will have traffic benefits for the wider region and will allow easier access to the Princes Freeway from Sneydes Road. 

Requirements

  • Raking piers at an angle of 60 degree to approx 5 meters high
  • Crosshead to piers
  • Demanding design, which included architectural features to the pier faces
